It makes sense to me. I know that when I’m in a negative state, feeling grateful helps me shift into a higher and happier state. Research shows, too, that mindfulness relaxes us and relaxation supports creative flow.

In our video interview, Dr. Bahl shares how our natural negativity bias creates resistance, which can be a normal response to the task of writing. Dr. Bahl turns that around by disrupting the negativity bias with a simple gratitude practice. She takes us through the exact steps she uses to shift from a negative mental and emotional state to a state of writing flow and ease.

These steps employ mindfulness and gratitude.

Lest you think mindfulness is complicated, this video will show you how easy it is to shift from writing resistance to writing with ease with gratitude.
