Have I let you down? I want to help you get your book done, out there, making a difference in people’s lives every single day—and in your own life, too.
However, my conversation with Ian last week made me realize my folly.
Ian said, “When I see your newsletter in my inbox. I often put it aside to read later. I know there’s so much great content and I want to give it the time it takes. The problem is, I often get busy and don’t get back to it, despite my good intentions.”
Well, that’s not going to help him get his book written and published and it’s not going to help you either.
So Geri, Ian and I have been brainstorming about what will help you. Here’s my plan:
- Short Emails Weekly: Instead of a crammed-full-of-tips-articles-and-info-newsletter you’ll receive weekly communications—shorter newsletters every other week and inspiring client success stories in the weeks between
- Skills and Tips Week: On newsletter weeks, you’ll find an article or tips helping you with very specific needs you may have: secrets of compelling writing, how to edit, how to write a book proposal, where to start with your book, how to build your platform. And below that you may find links to other blog posts or author interviews I’ve published that week. No more kudos or calendar in those—pure tips and guidance.
- Celebration Weeks:On in-between weeks, we’ll share a client case study—someone to inspire you, someone you can learn from, a link to their book and website, so you can learn the secrets helping them be successful in their book writing, publishing, book sales and businesses.
- Calendar: On celebration weeks, you’ll also find calendar listings:writing and publishing events followed by other business building or personal growth events that I envision you will find helpful in your publishing journey.
I hope—and imagine—this will make it easier to master skills and utilize tips in bite-sized pieces and get the most out of what I have to offer and teach you, so you can get that book written quickly, write a great book, transform people’s lives and grow your business.
Now, I need your help. Let me know what you need to create the book writing and publishing success you deserve.
