  1. Leah, that’s so exciting. Can you share one or two big takeaways from the event? What did you get out of it?

    • My pleasure, Lisa!

The most important thing I was reminded of was that in order to be of true service to my community, I MUST focus on self-care and my inner work. I’ve gotten out of that habit over the last six months while I was pushing really hard for The Miracle Journal. Now I have to allow it to be a priority again. If I don’t take care of myself, I’ll have nothing extra to give to my audience.

Also, I saw again the power of community. There was so much information given to us – and there’s so much work to do now – that I look at my notes and get a little overwhelmed. HOWEVER, by absolute serendipity, I ended up sitting with a group of amazing women and we bonded through the weekend. We’re going to work together to help each of us reach our goals. Knowing that they’ve got my back makes it feel a lot more doable.

I wrote a post on The Miracle Journal about the experience: http://www.themiraclejournal.com/2012/11/19/how-leah-got-her-groove-back/

Thanks again for being the vehicle to get me to exactly where I was meant to be, at exactly the moment I was meant to be there!

      With much gratitude,
      Leah
