It’s getting darker and colder in the northern hemisphere.

As the days get shorter and the weather colder, don’t neglect your need for sunlight. It’s the key to staying energized this winter. Even a few minutes outdoors can help maintain your energy and support your immune system.

Tips to Stay Energized this Winter

Even though it’s cold you’ve got to be mindful of getting some sunlight on your skin. So, bundle up and allow the sun to hit your face. Here are a few ideas:

  1. Find a nice bench in the park to sit on, put your hands out and let the sun shine on the palms of your hands.
  2. If you can’t get into the sun because you live in a really dark, cold place, take vitamin D supplements.
  3. Go for a hike, go for a run, go for a walk. Even if you’re at work, make sure you get outside.
  4. If the sun is out during your lunch break, put on your jacket, take a walk, and let the sun hit your face.

You’ve got to stay on top of that Vitamin D. It will help your energy stay high and will help your body stay healthy. Don’t skip this simple habit that could change your whole winter!
