Changing How You Define Success

We just started a new year, so now is the perfect time to talk about changing how you define success.

How Society Defines Success

Most people define success as a goal that they’ve achieved. But at the end of the day, when they get to that goal they realize that it feels hollow – and there’s a reason why:

Nothing you achieve on the outside can ever prove that you have value on the inside.

Ask yourself: The goals or the things that I’m chasing…are those things that I really want to experience or am I looking for some external level of validation to prove that I have value?

How to Find True Success

Real success comes from being truly, strongly connected to yourself.

Stop attempting to fit in with others with clever coping strategies. Take a deep look inside of yourself and let yourself know that you love you and you’re as important as anyone who has ever lived on this planet.

How you feel about you is much more important than how anyone else will ever feel about you.

Read that again…

How you feel about you is much more important than how anyone else will ever feel about you.

True Success Comes From Being Authentically You

You can only be successful by being authentically you.

If you’re not true to yourself, any success you achieve will feel hollow.

It’s time to break free from the belief that external things – your career, your possessions – define your worth.

Real success comes from being strongly connected to your true self in such a way that you are able to express who you are freely and authentically.

Stop trying to fit in with others using coping strategies. It only holds you back.

Instead, prioritize embracing your true self…and find out what true success feels like!
