There is a lot out there about healthy foods, but it can sometimes be overwhelming to sift through the information and determine what truly benefits your overall well-being.
The Truth About Healthy Foods
This will be brief and it will be very simple. Simply because a food is considered to be healthy doesn’t mean it’s healthy for YOU. It could be the exact opposite. It could be toxic.
So, what’s the prudent action to take?
Eat a food. If it makes you feel tired or it sits in your stomach for a very long time, obviously it’s the wrong food for you. Eat foods that feed you a lot of energy, that’s consistent for a long time, and make it out of your stomach really quickly. It will take trial and error to figure out what works for your body.
Remember, listen to your body’s hunger cues and eat mindfully, savoring each bite.
Ultimately, adopting a balanced diet is not about strict limitations or depriving yourself of the foods you love. It’s about feeling great, having more energy, and stabilizing your mood, leading to a healthier, happier life.
