Learn to Manage Your Negative Projections

A better world begins with you. There is a practical way to do your part in co-creating a better, shared experience for yourself and everyone around you. You must learn to manage your negative projections.

What are Negative Projections?

Negative projections refers to a psychological defense mechanism where someone unconsciously attributes their own negative thoughts, feelings, or behaviors to another person, essentially “projecting” their own issues onto someone else to avoid confronting them internally. This is a common way to deflect blame and feel better about oneself by making someone else appear flawed, instead.

Learn How to Manage Your Negative Projections

Focus on your inner growth.

This will help you clear out your fears and broaden your perspectives of the world around you.

Practice Self Awareness

The moment you catch yourself projecting negatively onto yourself or someone else, stop, take a half step back, and reframe that sentence to something positive. As you do this, you’re going to start reformatting your brain from negative projections to positive projections.

A Better World Begins With You

Whatever you think, whatever you feel, becomes your reality. Also, it becomes our shared reality. By managing your own negative projections, you positively influence the co-created shared experience between all of us.

Also, remember that the energy you project—whether positive or negative—reflects back to you. So, embrace inner expansion and let go of fear. As you do, you’ll find a more vibrant, supportive world reflecting back your new, expansive mindset.
