Inspiration in my office<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As writers, it’s critical to surround ourselves with things that inspire and enjoy activities that inspire us.<\/p>\n

I’ve shared before about the Melissa Harris artwork in my office and how walking in nature, especially Newport’s Cliff Walk energizes me for the day.<\/p>\n

I’d like to share with you another inspiration dear to my heart and important in my life–Aspire Magazine<\/em>, founded by my amazing friend Linda Joy.<\/p>\n

The first time I read Aspire<\/em>, I was drawn to the personal feel of the magazine and the way it spoke to women from different walks of life, who are on a path–about matters of the heart, as well as practical matters.<\/p>\n

Linda’s vision inspired me and soon I found myself serving as an advisory board member and featured columnist. I always find inspiration in its pages (now virtual pages).
