Not surprisingly, journaling about gratitude helps both her happiness and her writing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5\u00a0 Steps to Create Your Gratitude Journal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Find an inspiring book with blank pages<\/span><\/strong>. While a journal with a pretty cover image can work well, If you prefer, feel free to use a spiral notebook and decorate it with stickers or images to inspire you.<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Each evening, write about 5 things you are grateful for<\/span><\/strong>. They can be anything, but here\u2019s one way to easily come up with your list:<\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> A person<\/span><\/strong> you\u2019re grateful to have in your life<\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0 <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">A part of your body<\/span> <\/strong>or body system that functions to support your well being (one day it can be your liver, the next day your circulatory system)<\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0 <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Something beautiful<\/span><\/strong> in nature<\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0 <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">A lovely or useful object<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 in your home.<\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0 <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">An event<\/span><\/strong> that happened that day&#8211;mundane or special&#8211;list any writing experience here!<\/p>\n<p>3. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">While it\u2019s fine to list things, you may also want to elaborate.<\/span><\/strong> The more you delve into the details of that specific thing, the more you will appreciate it.<\/p>\n<p>4. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Re-read your entry and allow yourself to feel the feeling<\/span> <\/strong>of gratitude about each thing.<\/p>\n<p>5. <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Each morning, re-read your list from the previous night.<\/span><\/strong> See if you want to add<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-7501\" title=\"writing2\" src=\"https:\/\/jodieburdette.net\/lisatener\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/writing2-150x112.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"112\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jodieburdette.net\/lisatener\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/writing2-150x112.jpg 150w, https:\/\/jodieburdette.net\/lisatener\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/writing2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/jodieburdette.net\/lisatener\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/writing2-100x75.jpg 100w, https:\/\/jodieburdette.net\/lisatener\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/writing2.jpg 403w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/> any additional things for the morning.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">What are you grateful for in your writing practice?
