I know that when I&#8217;m in a negative state, feeling grateful helps me shift into a higher and happier state. Research shows, too, that mindfulness relaxes us and relaxation supports <a href=\"https:\/\/jodieburdette.net\/lisatener\/2020\/07\/writing-deeper-in-creative-flow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">creative flow<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our video interview, Dr. Bahl shares how our natural <a href=\"https:\/\/knowyourmind.training\/finding-your-calm-and-clarity-amidst-stress-session-ii\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">negativity bias<\/a> creates resistance, which can be a normal response to the task of writing. Dr. Bahl turns that around by disrupting the negativity bias with a simple gratitude practice.
